The leAD Sports & Health Tech Academy offers both on- and offline programs designed to support and grow early-stage sports & health tech startups around the globe.
The leAD Sports & Health Tech Academy supports and grows early-stage sports & health tech startups globally. The academy offers both on- and offline programs and focuses on leveraging visionary solutions in the realm of fan engagement, connected athletes, and health & well-being. So far, leAD has had three successful cohorts and is currently sourcing for cohort 4 and 5.
The Academy is the answer to leAD's increasingly global setup and the accelerated digital transformation we're all witnessing. The Academy is the addendum and umbrella to our programs: it connects our international community of entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and partners, allocates resources globally, interlink our programs, and helps us stay close even in times when it's physically not possible.
Currently, the Academy spans two-programs, one in Berlin, Germany, where it all started back in 2017, and the second one in Lake Nona, Orlando, U.S. Each program has its own pre-season and season. While the Berlin program happens once a year, the Lake Nona program is scheduled twice a year.
We identified startups and invest across three sub verticals primed for growth in the intersection of sports & health tech.
