Morten is a sports enthusiastic lawyer and tax advisor. After playing field hockey for more than 20 years, Morten is now a passionate skier and golfer. For his doctoral thesis, he combined his passion for sports and law as he analyzed tax and legal issues of German football clubs. He is working for the Hamburg based law firm MÖHRLE HAPP LUTHER, which is one of the biggest multidisciplinary law firms in Germany. Morten has his advisory focus on corporate tax law and M&A. He mainly advises German family offices, family-owned companies, and investors on reorganizations and domestic as well as cross-border transactions. Due to his sports background Morten is developing a department within the firm that shall deal with all kind of legal and tax aspects of sports (players, clubs, etc.).
