Etienne is an investor in startups, in the US and in Europe, a mentor for a selection of startup founders, and a partner in Sparkling Partners (a startup studio). Beforehand, Etienne founded the EQUATOR Group (Sports Business), and developed its international activities until his 2018 exit. Under his helm, EQUATOR diversified under several brands, enjoyed rapid growth, supported by a great team, with business from the most demanding and prestigious B2B clients in Sports (Franchises, Leagues, Sponsors, Media, Clubs, Federations, Promoters, etc.). EQUATOR became a very profitable business. EQUATOR provides services for major sport events worldwide to over 200 clients in sports covering all major international and European sports: Formula 1 and major motorsports, Soccer, Rugby, Basketball, etc. EQUATOR had 3 successive rounds with VCs, before being sold to a private equity firm.
