Jeff Kunowski is the Associate Director of Innovation Programs for Arizona State University's Global Sport Institute and J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute. In this role, Jeff works directly with ventures that are looking to bring sport-related ventures to market. He oversees all sport-specific venture development and funding programs, manages GSI's external innovation partnerships, and mentors student and professional athletes as they pursue entrepreneurial endeavors.

Jeff has spent over 10 years in the sports and entertainment industry and has extensive experience with product development, sales and marketing, and venue technology implementation. In addition to his role at Arizona State University, Jeff currently works with Southpaw Sports and Entertainment, a leader in digital display technologies, to manage business development efforts in sports and entertainment markets. Prior to joining Southpaw, Jeff held several positions in the sports technology space with companies like Leyard/Planar and Panasonic Corporation of North America. He joined Panasonic in 2015 after reaching an acqui-hire deal with MK Solutions Group, a Scottsdale-based consulting firm that he co-founded. Jeff got his start in sports business in 2010 when he founded Illumin8 Outdoor Media, an award-winning signage company based in Phoenix, AZ.

Jeff serves as an advisor for numerous start-ups and is a member of the ASU W.P. Carey Sports Business Advisory Board and the MSIVD Advisory Board.
